The next Lasker Lessons in Leadership talk “Advice for Young Scientists“ will be given by Lasker Juror Jeremy Nathans, Professor in the Departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Neuroscience, and Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The talk will be followed by a mentor panel discussion.
The event will take place on November 9, 2016, 8:30am-12:30pm, on the NIH main campus and will be available to the public via free live webcast (starting at 9am) at videocast.nih.gov.
In the afternoon, Nathans, who is a leader in the fields of molecular genetics, will gave a scientific talk titled “Frizzled signaling in development and disease.”
The lectures are developed in collaboration with the International Biomedical Research Alliance and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program.
