For some reason, when you tell people you study plants, they assume you are an expert gardener.  When I explain that I give lab-grown plants diseases for a living, they seem a bit disappointed.  Of course, many of us do put an effort into growing our own herbs & veggies out in the real world, and Adam thought it would be fun and helpful to share our Garden Stories – both the struggles and triumphs.  I’m sure no one will mind if you bring along some produce for us to sample as well!
